These projects were completed with our major teaming partners as either a prime or second-tier subcontractor. In addition, we work with some of the leading industry large and medium-sized general contractors such as Clark Construction Group, LLC, Gilbane Building Company, Hensel Phelps Construction Company, Smoot/Gilbane, a joint venture to name a few.

Finish Carpentry

Biomedical Sciences and Engineering Education Universities at Shady Grove, Maryland

PCII is furnishing casework. The new Biomedical Sciences and Engineering Education Building (BSE) enhances the collaborative efforts at the Universities at Shady Grove of nine sister institutions to offer advanced degree education in high technology and medical sciences fields, and to share instructional facilities across disciplines and degree programs.

National Institutes of Health (NIH) Building 10 E-Wing Renovation

PCII is furnishing and installing metal laboratory casework. This multi-story renovation of the E-Wing of Building of 10 is located at the NIH main campus in Bethesda, Maryland. The project includes 250,000 GSF of former patient care and laboratory areas renovated into highly specialized laboratories, laboratory support spaces, laboratory offices, and teaching facilities.

Columbia Place Apartments and Hotel

PCII installed Architectural Millwork, Case Wood Panels, and Window Sills. Columbia Place is a project consisting of a dual-brand hotel and apartment building. Winner 2019 Washington Building Congress (WBC) Craftsmanship Award for Architectural Woodwork. The $230 million project includes 357 Courtyard by Marriott rooms, 147 Residence Inn rooms, and 203 apartments. 

Adams Morgan Hotel (Line Hotel)

Premier Consultants International, Inc. has provided construction services in the area of architectural millwork and finished carpentry for the award-wining The Line Hotel in Adams Morgan District of Washington, DC. This 100-year old historic church was renovated and converted into a boutique hotel and opened in 2019. This is a LEED SILVER Certified Project. 

MLK Memorial Library Renovation Project

Premier Consultants International, Inc. is providing architectural millwork and finished carpentry to the landmark modernization of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Library in Washington, DC, which will open in the fall of 2020. This is a LEED SILVER Certified Project.

Once the $211 million rehabilitation is complete the library will become the center of activity for the already vibrant downtown area. 

Center for Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Nursing at Bowie State University

Premier Consultants International, Inc, installed architectural cabinets, laboratory and nursing equipment, laboratory casework, healthcare casework, and walk-in temperature-controlled rooms. The distinctive new building stands at the heart of Bowie State University‘s campus.

The 149,000–square-foot center is filled with sunlight and bright colors and state–of–art touches, such as the dynamic glass that automatically tints.

Miscellaneous and Ornamental Metals

Audi Field

The home for D.C. United, the most decorated franchise in U.S. soccer history and the most championed professional team in the District of Columbia. The Field opened in 2018 and also hosts a variety of other sporting and cultural events, community activities, and concerts.

The state-of-the-art urban facility has a capacity of 20,000 fans and features 31 luxury suites, a bike valet, and 500,000 total square feet of mixed-use retail and residential space on site, making it a 365-day destination for fans and D.C. residents alike.

US Coast Guard Headquarters

Due to the unique design challenges and requirements in Washington, DC, and specifically this National Historic Landmark site, the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) HQ building is designed to be low in deference to the existing historic structures and to blend into the hillside which forms a portion of the sloping fringe of greenery or “green bowl” around the city.

This design gives the occupants an advantage of views of the Potomac River, downtown Washington, DC. Their green roof is the second largest in the US and the third-largest in the world.

700 Penn Avenue SE

PCII provided Architectural Woodwork for this LEED GOLD Certified project. The mixed–use complex combines apartments, offices and retail on 3.4 acres formerly occupied by Hine Junior High School. 700 Penn at Eastern Market is a truly unique office opportunity in the heart of Capitol Hill, one of the most vibrant communities in Washington, DC blocks from the nations capitol, 700 Penn‘s 150,000 square feet of trophy office space will provide a transit, talent retention, and lifestyle advantage to its distinctive tenants.

Elevators

AMTRAK 30th Street Station

PCII provided services in the modernization of six elevators at this station. Amtrak is making several upgrades at Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station to improve the passenger experience, address long-term infrastructure needs of the nearly 100-year old building, and improve pedestrian mobility in and around the facility

Perry Point VA Medical Center

PCII provided services in the modernization of elevators at this medical facility. The Perry Point VA Medical Center is the largest inpatient facility in the VA Maryland Health Care System. they provide inpatient medical, intermediate and long-term care programs, including nursing home care, rehabilitation services, geriatric evaluation and management, respite care, chronic care, and hospice care.

The Enoch Pratt Free Library

PCII provided the installation of elevators as part of the library’s renovation project. The Library is a free public library system of the City of Baltimore, MD. The Library’s renovation will complement the Pratt’s significant print collection with the latest technologies, welcoming a vibrant future while preserving a cherished historic landmark. The state-of-the-art renovations will improve the building’s infrastructure and increase opportunities for learning, research, creativity, and civic engagement.

LED Lighting

Maryland House of Delegates Building

PCII installed LED Lighting for the Garage. The Maryland House of Delegates is the lower house of the legislature of the State of Maryland. It consists of 141 delegates elected from 47 districts. The House of Delegates Chamber is in the Maryland State House on State Circle in Annapolis, the state capital.

The State House also houses the Maryland State Senate Chamber and the offices of the Governor and Lieutenant Governor of the State of Maryland. 

Eastern Correctional Institution

Eastern Correctional Institution (ECI) is a medium-security state prison for men located in Westover, Somerset County, Maryland, owned and operated by the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. Eastern has a minimum-security Annex, completed in 1993, and housing some 560 inmates. There are ample educational and vocational training programs for all inmates, especially ones that show a willingness to learn new things that will prepare them for a better life when they are released. 

U.S. Court of Appeals for Veteran Claims

The Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims is a federal court located in Washington, D.C. dedicated to hearing the appeals of claimants (i.e. veterans and their dependents) who have been unsuccessful in their cases before the Board of Veterans’ Appeals. The CAVC was established by an act of Congress in 1988 and is currently made up of nine judges. Premier Consultants International, Inc. provided LED Lighting and Installation services for the newly appointed judges to the Court.
